I loved my Hoka Speedgoat 5’s (I used them for trail running and wore them down to the tread wearing through), but the Speedgoat 6 has been a disappointment after running in them a few tens of miles. Hoka made the space for the front half of the shoe much tighter for the Speedgoat 6. This makes the Speedgoat 6 a bit less comfortable for me when I first put it on, and much less comfortable when I’m a handful of miles down the trail. Both pair were Men’s 9.5 D.

Purchased Speedgoat 6 GTX size 12 2E. Gave all possible consideration initially wearing around house, up and down stairs.
I am presently wearing size 12 2E M Speedgoat 5 HOKAS previously purchased. with maximum comfort and support after removing the supplied inserts, swapping in my Oboz O Fit inserts.
After opening the laces to maximum on the Speedgoat 6, I found them to be too cramped, the toe box too cramped and an annoying internal tab at the mid-point lace on the right foot constantly rubbing on my outside foot slope, all without my Oboz O Fit inserts. Unfortunately, I am returning the poor fit Speedgoats.

I recently bought Hoka Speedgoat 6 GTX last Sunday to be exact. I’m size 37 so i picked size 38 as their size seems smaller compared to other brands. I tried size 38.5 but it looked funny cos who’s not? A 5’11” woman wearing a boat-sized shoes will really look funny. Today, I tried wearing it on trail hike and I suffered foot numb as it felt the blood wasn’t flowing properly because the forefoot and middle area of the shoes is very hard. It’s not worth buying this over priced shoes. I was expecting it to be really good as the price is HKD1,599. Very expensive but poor quality. The only thing I like about the shoes is the grip of the spike on the rocky path and the outer design. Pls let me know how I can return the shoes, if any. I worn it so I doubt they will refund me. I was really looking for a review since Monday unfortunately, this the only one I stumbled upon.
