Heel slippage is the first notable thing, especially when just walking around. Regardless of lacing styles I could not solve. Just mole skin on the heels and move on; no shoe is perfect. Great arch support and width compared to Speedgoat. Definitely a true fit. Love the mesh for quick dry times (mine were not GTX version) especially with the epic hail and rain storm at MM100. Extreme grip that never gave me worry on the treacherous slopes and inclines Mogollon is known for. Impacts are well absorbed with no reverberation up the shin.

Biggest complaint: It did take me a little bit to get used to the outsole being narrower than the body.

Biggest complement: Mogollon Monster 100 is a knarly course, extremely technical with crazy weather swings and with absolutely zero break-in time I finished with not one blister, black nail nor foot soreness of any type.

Definitely recommend to anyone, especially if you your go-to is the Speedgoat from limited options.
